This fun romantic comedy toggles between present day and the dreaded high school years of the early 1990s. Every teenaged boy wants to be the object of all the girls’ affection. But when your gear isn’t right because your mother only believes in buying secondhand clothes, and shopping at discount stores your high school social life is bound to suffer. Gavin Miller endures the pain and grows up to be smart and successful leaving behind the trauma of high school. That is until Rochelle Davis, a blast from the past walks into his life causing dapper Gavin Miller to revert back to his high school awkwardness. Gavin’s feelings for Rochelle all come rushing back when his friend from high school Andrea “Dre” Devine reminds him of the headache Rochelle inflicted. Ignoring the warning Gavin finds himself facing the same heartbreak. He finally finds solace in the arms of his best friend Dre after her long time crush is reviled.
